I am the Partner & Director of People and Performance, and I manage our internal talent acquisition team and lead our learning and development strategy in the UK and USA.
As an ex-recruiter, my passion lies in all things business development and recruitment. I thrive in supporting people and seeing them grow. I aim to keep training and coaching as ‘real life’ and high-impact as possible and have a lot of fun doing it!
Within talent acquisition, we are focused on direct hiring at all levels, from associate consultant to director. I have end-to-end oversight of talent attraction through to onboarding, training and support for the first few weeks in the job. We plan to grow the business to 230 by 2023 and are focused on connecting with driven recruiters at all levels.
I am also responsible for the UK learning and development function, providing sales training, predominately business development for all levels, and performance and management coaching.
The business can rely on me for honesty and accountability – always do what you say you’re going to do is my ethos. I have a genuine passion for the industry, and my role allows me to give real-time support to consultants who want to succeed. I love providing encouragement and guidance and helping set the foundations for people who are brand new to the recruitment industry.
I joined Eames in 2017, and in 2021 I was appointed to Eames’ Culture Board. Alongside my peers, I have responsibility for ensuring our values are upheld, and we are continuously getting feedback from the business on employee engagement.
What is the proudest moment of your career?
Hard question! Developing the associate consultant programme over the last four years to what I believe is now a world-class programme for people taking their first step into recruitment—the result of great collaboration, globally between L&D and the management team.
